Rachelle Mackintosh is a multi-award-winning writer, photographer and producer specialising in wildlife, oceans and expedition travel, and is endorsed by the Australian Society of Travel Writers. Since beginning her career in the 1990s she’s explored every continent and ocean, with her most recent work appearing in The Sunday Telegraph; Signature Luxury Travel; Australian Geographic (books); The Sydney Morning Herald; The Age; Escape.com.au; Vacations & Travel  and Qantas magazines. Before going freelance in 2020, she worked on staff for Seven West Media, Australian Consolidated Press, Pacific Magazines and Are Media, honing her skills on titles like Travel Week, The Great Outdoors, Women’s Health, Who, Cosmopolitan, New Idea and the Australasian Post.
