Licorice legs are goooo. Stilt from a quick visit to a local wetland area this arvo.
Happy Friday mates! Here's a smiley jackal from Kanha National Park in Madhya Pradesh, India. Happy, happy place 💛
If you're missing the humpies as much as I am, you can still get a whaley fix - just check out my new podcast ep with whale naturalist Rich Dolan. His stories are awesomely entertaining - and so was this happy little chappie who I snapped off Sydney on my very last day on the boat for the season 💙
Canada's Great Bear Rainforest in British Columbia (where I snapped this fella) is like nowhere else on the planet and each time I visit it's harder and harder to leave. It's a place where wolves go fishing, black bears are white, brown bears are at their happiest and every pocket of forest and sea is pulsing with life upon life. This is Ian McAllister's office and it has been for decades - he's one of my all-time favourite photographers/explorers and he's devoted his life to this jaw-dropping wilderness. I was stoked to interview him for my Wild Lives podcast, give it a listen for some truly epic tales!
