Cape Fur Seal nailing my Humpday mood. From my recent trip to Gansbaai, South Africa (aka great white heaven). Have a good one mates - and stay safe everyone 💙
MISS THEM ALREADY! That's a wrap for my Sydney whale season ... here comes 6 months of scanning the ocean for phantom blows. Land legs are overrated. This was from last weekend in Merimbula with my WhaleFam 💙
Boom! And just like that, it’s nearly time for Season 2 of my WILD LIVES podcast to go live. This year I’ve spoken to a few wildlife legends you already know, as well as some truly intriguing peeps you’ll be stoked to meet. And as for the animals and places, think: everything from sea wolves to Tassie devils, from the Azores to the Arctic (and everywhere awesome in between). Oh, and this season the sound quality is a lot better as I’ve sprung for some new gear PLUS I’ve also recorded a few episodes live in the field. Good times! And yeah, I’m also trying something different with how I’m releasing them: the series has 12 episodes in total, and they’ll all come out over the period of a month (so I’ll drop 3 episodes at the same time each week). So … While I put the finishing touches on the new-season's audio, why not subscribe now so you don’t miss an episode? Simply go to the link on my profile, click any story and you’ll find a list of links to iTunes, Google Podcasts, Spotify, Omny, and other places you can listen!
Snapped this fella in Merimbula on the weekend and he was like, "come at me, brah". Just a few days left in the Sydney humpie season and I'm already pre-sad that it's pretty much over. Maybe we'll get lucky out there today. Happy Friday mates!
